Cil De Vylder
NL - Cil De Vylder schildert, tekent en schrijft. Ze heeft haar atelier in Antwerpen en studeerde Beeldverhaal aan Luca School of Arts in Brussel. In de jongerenbib van Permeke geeft ze maandelijks zine workshops (samen met collega - illustrator Amber Gyselings).
Ze werkt graag op papier en hout en combineert materialen zoals gouache, ecoline, kleurpotlood, olieverfkrijt en pastelkrijt. Ze haalt haar inspiratie uit foto’s, films, anekdotes uit haar eigen leven en lange wandelingen in de natuur.
ENG - Cil De Vylder paints, draws and writes. She has her studio in Antwerp and studied Cartooning at Luca School of Arts in Brussels. At the Permeke Youth Library, she gives monthly zine workshops (together with colleague - illustrator Amber Gyselings).
She likes to work on paper and wood, combining materials such as gouache, ecoline, colored pencil, oil crayons and pastels. She gets her inspiration from photographs, films, anecdotes from her own life and long walks in nature.
